Field Service - Automated Bioassay Labs - Downey, CA

Field Service Technician Calibration Tech Validation BioLab Automated Robotic Multichannel Pipetting & Multiplex Microplate Autoloaders Sampler Readers Immunoassay Bioassay Electrochemiluminescence Detection Tabletop Laboratory Instruments CCD Optics Micropumps Mechatronics Proprietary Software _.

SIGNIFICANT INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Perform onsite installation, calibration, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

Work on Laser Scanning Microscopes, Electrophoresis Instrumentation, Centrifuges, Sample Prep Equipment, and related components.

*** Start up and validate equipment.

*** Resolve hardware, software, and reagent issues. Develop recommendations and implement solutions to reflect customer requirements.

*** Ensure operational quality and efficiency of instruments. Upgrade products and remedy software patches.

*** Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot instrumentation.

*** Conduct pre-commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing.

*** Develop and implement training modules on safe operation of equipment.

*** Lasers - Carbon Dioxide, Argon Ion, Helium-Neon, Maiman's Pulsed Ruby, Diode, Ti: Saphire Mode Locked, GAS Argon, Multiphoton Tunable, and similar lasers.

*** Lens - Achromatic, Fluorite, Apochromatic, Immersion, Huygens, Ramsden, Periplan, Wide-Field, Super-Field, Abbe Condenser, Achromatic Condenser, Universal Condenser, and similar lens.

*** Digital Imaging Systems - CCD cameras, CMOS Image Sensors, Full-Frame Charged Coupled Devices, Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS) Capacitors, Avalanche Photodiodes, Photomultiplier Tubes, Spatial Light Modulators, Electron-Bombarded CCDs, Electron Multiplying CCDs, Sequential Color CCD Systems, Proximity-Focused Image Intensifiers, and similar.

*** Subcomponents - Dichroic Beam Splitters, Mirrors, Short Pass, Long Pass, & Band Pass Filters, Photomultiplier tubes, Pinholes, Focal Planes, Microchannel Plates, Output Coupler Mirrors, Wavelength Selector & Prism Controls, Birefringent Filters, GTI Dispersion Controls, Laser Cavity Folding-Focus Mirrors & Prisms, Anisotropic Crystals, Pockels Cells, and similar.
