Job DescriptionWE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A FURNITURE PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR OUR DOWNEY LOCATIONOBJECTIVE OF THE POSITIONThe production manager position will assist the general manager in delivering bespoke furniture fit outs to meet the exacting demands of both home and international customers.The production manager has the responsibility of all the production departments and manufacturing Personnel, planning production to meet with customer requirements. The position will require a full understanding of solid wood and board material manufacturing techniques. The position will be supported by a production office, covering purchasing, drawing office and programming roles.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the lifecycle of home furnishings production/manufacturing, all the way through client delivery and installation
• Maintain superior levels of quality on all production, including best in class production practices.
• Support development team with coordination of new designs, models/samples; understanding of construction plans
• Vendor management, retain existing and develop/source new relationships
• Continuous process improvement, internal and external
• Act as liaison for all cross functional business partners
• Communication and continually all updates on existing customer orders to sales team
• Monitor production steps to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Arrange all forms of transport, from international import/export to white glove delivery and installations
• Other duties as assignedDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
