Job Description:

Are you a 2-4 year CALIFORNIA licensed attorney looking to work with experienced attorneys and paralegals who will give you opportunities to further your legal career? If so, we are looking for you! Our firm is hiring an attorney who will support us by conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client files, discovery, working with clients, trial support, and depositions prep. The ideal candidate will have some courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills. Responsibilities:

Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals


Qualifications:

Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
Candidates must have passed the bar exam
