Job Description Job Description Position Summary FlyLock Security Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Locksmith Technician to join our Gardena team. This role focuses on commercial hardware installation, service, and master key systems. This is not a residential lockout position. Requirements Active California Locksmith License Minimum 2 years commercial locksmith experience Clean driving record (no accidents within past 3 years) Ability to pass drug screening Fluent in English (spoken and written) Professional appearance Core Responsibilities Commercial Hardware Installation & Service Install, repair, and maintain commercial hardware including: Panic hardware / push bars Surface and concealed door closers Strikes and associated door/frame hardware Mortise locks & commercial lever sets Deadbolts and entry hardware Modify doors and hardware for lock installations Create and maintain master key systems Rekey and pin cylinders Cut keys by code Technical Skills Interpret written instructions, diagrams, and schedules Troubleshoot issues involving multiple variables Maintain and service tools and equipment Read operating manuals and procedure documents Perform accurate measurements and basic math calculations Preferred (Not Required) C28 and/or D16 contractor license Access control installation CCTV systems Intercom systems Door and frame repair Safe installation and service Customer Service Expectations Provide timely, accurate, and professional service Communicate clearly with commercial clients Respond to service inquiries efficiently Maintain strong client relationships Operations Responsibilities Follow verbal and written instructions from management Complete assigned projects efficiently Submit paperwork and documentation accurately and on time Physical Requirements Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Kneel, crouch, stoop, and climb ladders Work above shoulder height Withstand year-round outdoor weather conditions After-Hours Rotation Scheduled after-hours rotation Additional compensation for after-hours calls Overtime paid in accordance with California labor laws Compensation & Benefits $25–$35 per hour DOE Paid Time Off Paid Holidays One week onsite training Company work van (travel to and from work permitted) Gas provided Company iPhone Professional tools provided Uniforms provided Stable commercial accounts Overtime opportunities FlyLock Security Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
