COMPANY BACKGROUND/CULTURESkilled Management was founded in 2017 in Downey, California. Skilled Management focuses on providing quality care to seniors through their assisted living communities and home care agencies. Currently, own and manage four assisted living communities, a memory care community, a home health agency, and a hospice agency. Skilled Management has an aggressive growth plan and plans on doubling in size in the next two years. Our assisted living division helps seniors with activities of daily living when they can no longer take care of themselves. When nursing is needed, our home health and hospice division is available to provide nursing services. Within each of these divisions, Skilled Management has over 200 employees. In the next two years, the company plans to double in size through acquisitions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Recruiter reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for Skilled Management's talent acquisition strategy. This role will be responsible to ensure Skilled Management's hiring process is effective in brining top talent into the company.Responsibilities and Duties Create job postings that are attractive and represent the company brand. Manager job boards including LinkedIn, Indeed and others Create relationships with trade schools, colleges and universities to build a pipeline of qualified candidates. Attends job fairs. Source and screen candidates to fill open positions Prepare job offer letters for new hires Conduct compensation and benefits analyses for various roles in the company Organize candidates' data (e.g. resumes, assignments and contact details) in internal databases Design candidate experience surveys and analyze feedback Conduct interviews and contact applicants Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire) Develop, organize and promote the employee referral program Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling trainings) Facilitates new employee orientation on a regular basis Craft and update job descriptions for the company Assist in enforcing full compliance to company's operating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures and service standards as it relates to recruitments Ensures the objectives and goals of the company as it relates to hiring work together to achieve brand positioning and success Work with and assist the Chief Human Resources Officer in wage scale surveys and ensures employee wages are followed by the company and industry salary guidelines Builds strong working relationships and communications with hiring managers and other departments to ensure maximum operating effectiveness and fulfillment as it relates to recruitment Ensures effective, timely and accurate communications flow with regards to the company's recruitment and talent management policies and procedures Respond to recruitment and talent management audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved Identifies the developmental needs of hiring managers and provide training, coaching, mentoring to improve their knowledge or skills as required Display ability to recruit, retain, and produce the most talented employees available in the job market Performs all other duties as assigned Additional skills Ability to manage several recruitment projects and solve complexrecruitment challenges effectively, efficiently and with creativity. Strong ability to source candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed and other platforms. Possess the strongest ethical standards, leading the way with leadership, organizational, and analytical skills. Strong team player, while also being a strong individual and self-reliant contributor. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with hiring managers. Detail-oriented, team player, quick problem-solver. Be open minded and inclusive. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook.Education, experience & Qualifications 3+ years of recruitment experience. Experience in Healthcare preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred Demonstrated strong business acumen.
