GQR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse Correctional
for a local contract nursing job in Downey, California. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Correctional - Discipline:
RN - Duration: 20 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days,
evenings - Employment Type: Local Contract Behavioral Health RN –
Days or Mids Available Start Date: ASAP Orientation: ASAP Contract
Length: 20 weeks Schedule: - 40 hours per week - 5x8-hour shifts -
Day and Mid shifts available - Must work every other weekend
Patient Ratios: - Within California State Law guidelines On-Call
Requirement: None Required Certifications: - BLS - Fire Safety Card
- MAB or CPI License: - Active California RN license required
Experience Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years inpatient psychiatric
or correctional health experience - Must have blood draw experience
- Experience in a secured environment (detention center, locked
behavioral health unit, or jail) preferred - Travel experience
