Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab Embark on a

allure of this enchanting locale! Overview We are seeking a
dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization
Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in
critical care nursing and have experience working in a Level II
trauma center. This role is essential in providing high-quality
patient care during catheterization procedures, ensuring patient
safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve
optimal outcomes. Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments prior to catheterization
procedures. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the
process and addressing any concerns. Administer medications and
monitor patients' vital signs throughout the procedure. Provide
catheter care and ensure proper maintenance of catheterization
equipment. Assist physicians during catheterization procedures,
including spinal taps as required. Document all patient
interactions, assessments, and procedural details accurately in the
electronic health record system (experience with Athenahealth is
preferred). Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop
and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their
families on post-procedure care and recovery expectations. Adhere
to all hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and workers'
compensation laws. Skills Strong clinical skills in patient
assessment and critical care nursing. Experience in an ambulatory
surgery center setting is a plus. Proficient in catheter care
techniques and knowledge of related equipment. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention
to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with
patients, families, and healthcare team members. Familiarity with
electronic health record systems, particularly Athenahealth.
Knowledge of workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient
care is beneficial. Experience working with pediatric patients is
