Job Description:
A company is looking for a Supervisor of Behavioral Health
Utilization Management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervises behavioral health utilization review clinicians and
ensures compliance with guidelines
Monitors performance, quality, and efficiency standards within the
utilization management team
Provides coaching, guidance, and feedback to enhance team
performance and resolve complex member issues
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree
with 4+ years of related experience
Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor,
Professional Counselor, or equivalent required
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of behavioral health utilization management principles
preferred
Understanding of medical necessity criteria for a broad range of
behavioral health services preferred
