Specialty: NP or PA Urgent Care
Site Name and Location: Downey Medical Center
Reason for coverage: Providing coverage with spike/shortage of staffing
Dates of Coverage: ASAP 3 Months with option to extend, as needed
Practice Description:
- Setting: Urgent Care / Clinic
- Daily Responsibilities: Urgent Care cases Flu, Sickness, I&D, Lacerations, Toe Nails, Fractures, etc.
- Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Flex schedule Open Monday Sunday. Work every other weekend with days off during week. 9a-5:30p or 1p-9:30p
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No Call
- PPD/Census: Patients scheduled every 20 minutes
- Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: Physicians, other NP s, and MA s/RN s for Support
- EMR: EPIC
  Certifications required/accepted: Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  Credentialing Time frame Are temps available: Estimated 60-90 Days
