Job Description & RequirementsRegistered Nurse - Medical Surgical - (MS RN)StartDate: 11/14/2022Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $3059.76 - 3371.98Opened in the fall of 2009, this medical center is the area's newest hospital in more than 40 years! Environmentally friendly and built with the patient in mind. The hospital rooms are 95% private with pullout beds for loved ones, and nurses' stations are close to the patients. The hospital has a full-service Emergency Department, Critical Care, high-risk obstetrical services, and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

MedSurg
Nurse to patient ratios 1:4-5 for all shifts. No Ancillary Staff. Patients range in age from Adolescents to Geriatrics. Unit patient population: General MS ortho, Urology, oncology patients. Required Certs: BLS. Patient Care Delivery System: Primary and Team. Meds and drips administered: Chemo. Special Unit Procedures: CT insertion, LP's Bone Marrow Aspiration, 10-31 oral radiation, OBGYN exams. Documentation System: Computerized HealthConnect. Supplemental Staff required to float when necessary. Scrubs can be any color, RN provides their own scrubs.
