Technical Program Manager - Data & AI, PrivacyCulver City,
California, United States MarketingDescriptionThe primary duty of
the Technical Program Manager is to drive innovation and results
through strategic technical partnerships. The role will collaborate
with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Marketing
stakeholders to support the design, build, and execution of
personalized experiences. The focus will be on advancing the use of
data signals and driving new AI/ML capabilities in a privacy
preserving way in order to make all communications more contextual
and relevant to Apple customers. You will leverage Apple's data
assets to enable our marketers to make decisions that reach the
right users at the right time. Some of the initiatives we work on
include supporting new product launches, designing data solutions
in order to acquire, engage, and retain customers across our suite
of Apple Services.Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:
- Translating business problems into data initiatives
- Presenting analyses to technical and non-technical
stakeholders
- Creating monitoring systems to inform global operations
- Developing and validating data design for marketing
optimizations
- Ensuring we adhere to best practices and privacy
guidelinesMinimum Qualifications
- 8+ years experience managing large cross-functional projects
that require deep understanding of technical design, back-end
architecture, and data pipelines.
- Experience leading projects that involve AI/ML integration into
automated marketing messaging and consumer facing
applications.
- Experience working with privacy and legal teams to evaluate
global data usage.
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written
presentation skills - able to evangelize data informed
decision-making at all levels.
- Capable of producing high quality deliverables within tight
deadlines with limited oversight.
- Flexibility to deal with rapidly changing, time-constrained
schedules.
- Expert proficiency with databases and data retrieval, including
SQL.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Ability to
communicate ideas clearly and to all levels of management.
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving
skills.Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. / M.S. in relevant or quantitative discipline:
Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or
Statistics.
- Strong understanding of Growth Marketing initiatives and
consumer lifecycles.
- High proficiency working with Python, with experience in LLMs
preferred.
- Experience in working across different global cultures a
plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to partner
effectively and influence stakeholders.
- Experience working with on-device data, or AI/ML solutions.At
Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and
is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to
progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range
for this role is between $133,800 and $265,300, and your base pay
will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and
location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an
Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary

discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple
