The Manager, Research will be on a hybrid/remote schedule but will
be based in one of the following KARL STORZ hub office locations:
El Segundo, CA, Stafford, TX or Auburn, MA. The Manager, Research
plays a key-role in the Medical & Scientific Affairs Operations
team. The Operations team within Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA)
enables research, evidence generation, innovation, and skills
acquisition for Healthcare Providers (HCPs) by supporting the
company's strategic initiatives in accordance with Regulatory and
Compliance requirements.
This individual will manage KARL STORZ Research Program in support
of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) and Investigator Sponsored
Studies. Additionally, this position will be involved in the
design, oversight, and execution real-world evidence (RWE) research
programs to satisfy the data generation needs. This individual will
support research goals, strategies, plans and objectives. Regularly
reviews clinical metrics against objectives and takes actions to
assess deviations from the plans, as/where necessary. Communicates
with senior management on progress, issues, and potential
solutions. This position reports directly to the Associate
Director, Operations in our Medical & Scientific Affairs
department.
