Job Description Job Description Description: JOB SUMMARY Builds,
installs, tests, and inspects door and window systems on the test
wall to verify real-world functionality before shipment. Ensures
units operate correctly when fully installed, identifies root
causes of performance issues, and confirms they meet Euroline’s
quality and installation standards. Requirements: ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS Assemble and install units onto the test wall following
standard installation practices Test the full operation of units in
an installed condition, including: Verify paint and finish match.
Inspect units for square, plumb, level, and smoothness of
operation. Identify, diagnose, and resolve installation-related
functionality issues Perform adjustments as needed to correct
installation setup on the test wall. Fill out inspection forms and
testing checklists thoroughly, documenting all findings,
adjustments, and defects Ensure all testing follows Euroline
quality and installation standards. Maintain the test wall area,
tools, jigs, and equipment. Escalate issues and defects to
lead/supervisor as needed Wear required PPE and practice safe
operation at all times. Participate in special projects and perform
additional duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Ability to
read and understand installation instructions, hardware sheets, and
shop drawings. Proficient in use of hand and power tools commonly
used in installation and testing. Strong understanding of
installation fundamentals: Squaring, plumbing, and leveling
Diagnosing installation-related operational issues Knowledge of
hardware function and adjustment Knowledge of shop math and ability
to take accurate measurements to 1/32". Ability to troubleshoot and
solve root causes, not just symptoms. Able to work independently
with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills to coordinate
with all departments on shop floor. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High
School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 6 months manufacturing
experience required. Installation, carpentry, framing, glazing, or
hardware adjustment experience preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Heavy
Work: Exerting up to 100 lbs. occasionally, up to 50 lbs.
frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly. Frequent lifting,
standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
Requires fine visual acuity for to verify units meet Euroline
quality standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT Industrial environment with
exposure to temperature changes, noise, moving equipment, and
various physical hazards. May require working at height when
testing tall or oversized units. Requires use of PPE and adherence
to all safety protocols.
