Glazier Job Description We are seeking both a glazier and a glazing
foreman. The glazing foreman will oversee daily field operations
for glazing projects, ensuring that all jobs are completed on time,
within scope, and according to company standards. This role will
manage labor, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and
lead the team to ensure efficiency and high-quality workmanship in
all projects. The glazier will install glass and frames alongside
the foreman. Responsibilities (foreman) Oversee field operations,
managing multiple glazing projects including storefront
installations, tenant improvements, and curtain walls. Plan,
schedule, and manage labor to ensure that resources are allocated
effectively and projects are completed on time and within budget.
Lead and develop a skilled team of glaziers, providing guidance and
support to ensure top performance and adherence to safety
standards. Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and maintain
consistent quality across all projects. Continuously analyze field
operations to identify areas for improvement, introducing processes
that increase productivity and reduce costs. Act as a point of
contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure
smooth communication and the successful delivery of projects.
Ensure that all fieldwork meets company standards for quality and
complies with OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Proactively
identify challenges in the field and implement solutions to avoid
delays, manage risks, and ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Essential Skills (foreman) Proven experience in field management
within the commercial glazing industry. Thorough knowledge of
storefronts, tenant improvement, and curtain wall systems.
Experience in labor management and project scheduling. Ability to
develop SOPs and lead teams to operational efficiency. Excellent
communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency
in interpreting architectural plans, specifications, and shop
drawings. Understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to field
operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications (foreman) Experience
as a foreman, superintendent, field manager, or similar in the
glazing trade. Expert installer of storefront, tenant improvements,

hours are from 5 am to 2 pm at job sites in and around the San

& Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of
Chatsworth, CA 91313. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $22.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
