Job Description Job Description Position : Credit Supervisor
Reports To : Controller Location : Hybrid/Remote (6 months)
Full-time in Boulder, CO, in the Summer of 2026. Job Summary The
Credit Supervisor is responsible for leading and executing the
company’s national credit function. This role develops, manages,
and enforces prudent credit policies for Giant retailers to
optimize sales while minimizing bad debt and past-due exposure. The
position oversees accounts receivable collections to ensure strong
cash flow and healthy customer balances, and partners closely with
the Controller and Sales teams to support the dealer channel with
sound credit recommendations. Key Responsibilities Develop and
implement effective credit solutions and policies. Establish and
maintain Credit Department operating procedures and standards.
Evaluate and approve new dealer accounts and credit applications.
Set, manage, and adjust retailer credit limits and exposure levels.
Execute exit strategies and account terminations when necessary.
Manage the sales credit hold process and communicate decisions
clearly. Oversee all non-legacy/GPS territory collections and
assign territories to credit representatives. Personally handle
collections on large or high-risk exposure accounts. Produce,
analyze, and maintain relevant credit and AR reports. Manage
relationships and performance of outside collection agencies.
Partner with Sales and Finance to balance growth with risk
management. Qualifications College degree preferred. Minimum 3
years of credit management experience (Outdoor Sports industry
preferred). Minimum 3 years of retail management experience
(Outdoor Sports industry preferred). Strong ability to read and
analyze financial statements and business plans. Excellent
negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to work
collaboratively with Sales management to achieve revenue goals.
Exceptional analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities. High level of
organization, integrity, and work ethic. Experience managing and
developing direct reports. Comfortable coaching, correcting, and
leading performance improvement. Flexible mindset with the ability
to adapt to change. Systems experience ERP preferred
