Summary: The Client Accounting Services (CAS) Accountant provides
comprehensive outsourced accounting and advisory support to firm
clients. This role serves as an extension of the client’s
accounting department, managing day-to-day accounting operations,
monthly close, and financial reporting. The CAS Accountant is a
primary point of contact for clients and plays a key role in
delivering timely, accurate, and value-driven accounting services.
Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of

functions. Accounting and Advisory Function as an extension of the
client’s accounting department, providing hands-on support for all
routine accounting needs. Manage day-to-day client accounting
activities, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, accounts
payable and receivable, monthly close activities, and financial
reporting. Provide recommendations to clients on process
improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to
enhance accounting efficiency. Deliver exceptional client service,
including accounting guidance and strategic advisory support.
Administrative Tasks Works independently with a minimum of
supervision. Follows all policies and procedures established by
firm. Enters time daily to ensure current and accurate tracking of
hours. Assigns hours to each client to ensure accurate billing.
Follows safety rules according to firm Injury and Illness
Prevention Program (IIPP). Marginal Functions Accepts special
projects as assigned. Job Requirements: To perform this job
successfully, the individual must possess the following education,
licenses and certifications, experience, and skills. Education
Related experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or
Finance a plus. Experience 2 years of public accounting or client
accounting experience, including payroll processing. Technical
Skills Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP) Strong knowledge of accounting operations,
month-end close, and financial reporting. Excellent communication,
organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage
multiple client engagements simultaneously and work independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), QuickBooks and
using various software packages. Ability to maintain a high level
of accuracy in preparing and entering information. Interpersonal
Skills High level of enthusiasm to work collaboratively in a team
environment to meet and exceed expectations for internal and
external clients. Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work with
minimal direction. Upholds the professional standards of conduct
for respectful behavior and demonstrates a high degree of personal
integrity. Ability to handle confidential information. What We

compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 - $65,000.
Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual’s
qualifications, experience, skills, licensure, and
certifications.
